Empath.exe is a narrative-driven visual novel about artificial empathy, grief, and the fragile beauty of human emotion.
Set in a near-future Tokyo where neural implants let people purchase emotions, you’ll follow:

• Kenshiro Saitō — a cynical detective carrying the weight of loss.

• Ema — an experimental empathic AI designed to simulate human feelings… perhaps too well.

Together, they investigate a series of “perfect-happiness suicides” linked to Haptyx Corp’s emotion-modulating technology.

What begins as a case becomes a journey into memory, identity, and what remains of us when our emotions can be copied, sold, or lost forever.
